Fallout 76 Patch from April 9, 2019, the patch notes in German
The new patch does not bring any major new features to Fallout 76. However, new content is being added and further features are being prepared for the future.
What has not been found in the patch notes so far are the player shops that have been eagerly awaited for some time. This has been postponed to May 7th.
These contents are coming to Fallout 76: Two points from the new contents are particularly interesting.
- New quest line: The quest line “The Lying Lowe” is now available. In a kind of scavenger hunt, you must track the trails of a new cryptid, the “Sheepsquatch”, which is related to the disappearance of Calvin Can Lowe. A lot of detective work awaits you. You can start the quest via posters that you find in Lewisburg or at train stations, and you can buy them for free in the Atomic Shop until May 7th.
- Renaming items: You now have the option to give weapons, armor, and clothing individual names. This way, you can prevent accidentally selling or scrapping your favorite items. Simply select the item and choose the “Rename” option under “Details”.
What is changing: Some of the existing features have changed.
- V.A.T.S. is improving: Neutral creatures and friendly players are no longer considered possible targets by V.A.T.S. This should make it less likely to accidentally get into PvP.
- Turrets: The turrets of your C.A.M.P.s will receive damage scaling and an increase in base damage. Additionally, turrets have a longer range and shotgun turrets have less spread.
- Insult bot: The insult bot beloved by many players now really insults players.
- Survival mode: In the beta of the new PvP mode, some of the PvP rules have been revised. Among other things, players drop less resources and caps upon death.
These features are planned for the future: Bethesda announced an underground dungeon for April 16 that is supposed to be located beneath Harpers Ferry. The dungeon is designed for groups.
Along with the highlights, there are numerous bug fixes and further adjustments. You can find the complete patch notes on Bethesda’s official website.
