Fallout 76 – Important Information about the Beta Release
Servers not available continuously: According to Bethesda, the goal of the Beta is to eliminate as many bugs in the game as possible. Players are encouraged to test Fallout 76 thoroughly and also “break it”.
The Beta servers will not be available continuously. Each day that the Beta is held, the servers are expected to be available for four to eight hours. During this time, as many players as possible are encouraged to play.
Feedback collected on Twitter, Facebook, and the official forums will then be used to resolve bugs and improve things before the servers are brought back online. This cycle will be how the entire Beta proceeds.
Streaming is allowed: For the Fallout 76 Beta, there is also no NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). This means that from the very first second of the Beta, all content may be shown publicly.
Participants in the Beta can livestream everything they experience during the Beta, for example on Twitch, or publish screenshots to share with others.
Technical Tests in advance: In addition to the actual Beta test (or B.E.T.A.), there will be time-limited stress tests meant to prepare for the Beta itself. Randomly selected players will be invited to participate in these tests, but they will be under an NDA while testing Fallout 76.
The stress tests are already underway.
