Many activities in Fallout 76 reward you with achievements. Those who have already played the beta can carry over some of these achievements. However, others must be re-earned.
Pete Hines clarifies: Many players have asked whether their achievements from the beta can be transferred to the final game. In a tweet, chief Pete Hines explained: Yes, it is possible, except for quest achievements.
For some achievements, you need new characters
Which achievements will be credited to me? All progress from the Fallout 76 beta should actually be carried over to the final game. This has mostly worked for many contents.
Regarding the early release of Fallout 76 on November 13, many players have asked which achievements would be credited to them. Pete Hines responded to this in a tweet:
- Achievements that require a quest (such as leaving the Vault) will not be transferred.
- Achievements for things like building a weapon will be transferred.
Completed achievements will only be transferred if they were completed in the beta. However, anyone wanting to have all achievements will likely need to create a new character for Fallout 76.
What are achievements good for? Achievements do not have a major impact on the game. They are primarily important for players who want to unlock all achievements and all 51 trophies. What trophies Fallout 76 has and what their requirements are can be found in our article.
Achievements are also a way to earn atoms. With atoms, you can unlock cosmetic items that allow you to change the appearance of your character or your base.
Most achievements also provide a small amount of atoms. However, for those who do not want to earn them, atoms can also be purchased for real money to spend them in the atom shop.

Achievements may also cause issues with private servers. If you want to rent a server for Fallout 76, you will have to wait anyway.
