Fallout fans are eagerly waiting for a date for the beta of Fallout 76. So far, there is no information on this. Via Twitter, Pete Hines, Vice President at Bethesda, has now provided a hint as to when to expect the first information.
There is still quite a bit of time until the release of Fallout 76 on November 14. Before that, there should be a B.E.T.A. (Break-it Early Test Application). When this will appear is still unknown. What is certain is that signing up for the beta is linked to the pre-order of the game.

The community is asking: When could there be further information? Pete Hines, Vice President of Bethesda, provided a possible answer via Twitter.

Information about the beta of Fallout 76 at QuakeCon?
An interested player wanted to know what the purpose of the Charisma perk in Fallout 76 is if there are no NPCs to talk to.
Fallout 76 likely to be at QuakeCon: The first information about the specialization will not be long in coming. Hines explained in his response to the fan that we would learn more about it at QuakeCon. Now players are speculating via reddit whether we can expect information about the beta during the convention.
Information about the beta not unlikely: Bethesda regularly uses QuakeCon to present games and share information about already announced games. The new Doom: Eternal is also expected to be presented at QuakeCon.
Therefore, it is not unlikely that there could be a date for the beta of Fallout 76. But that is currently pure speculation.
Date QuakeCon: The event takes place from August 9 to August 12, 2018.
What is QuakeCon? QuakeCon is a large BYOC (“Bring Your Own Computer”) convention for video games held by ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda. It takes place annually in Dallas, Texas, USA. The event is named after iD Software’s well-known game series “Quake” and has existed since 1996.
The special thing: The first QuakeCon had 40-60 visitors. The games played were mainly Doom and Quake, among the players were the developers of iD Software themselves. It has since become one of the largest events of its kind in North America, with over 8000 visitors in 2016.
We are curious to see how much of Fallout 76 will be shown there. What do you think?
