Here you can see the new trailer for GTA 6:
Good graphics and many frames per second will be difficult
What did the experts find out? The gaming experts analyzed the trailer for GTA 6 in detail. They concluded that the trailer was upscaled to 4K and 30 frames per second. At the end of the trailer, there is also a display stating that the PS5 is the platform of choice for the recording.
The experts suggest that 4K and 60 frames per second at the launch of GTA 6 on current consoles will likely not be possible without compromises in graphics, for example with ray tracing. Players will have to choose at release between poorer graphics and a smoother game or a more beautiful game with fewer frames per second.
How does it look on PC? The new trailer for GTA 6 does not mention the PC as a release platform. Experts from Gamestar meanwhile assume that GTA 6 may only be released for PC with the new console generation. This could be in 2027 or even 2028. However, a 4K resolution and 60 FPS could be possible on better hardware.
Fans have been waiting for GTA 6 for many years. The fact that the best graphics will not launch on the release consoles without the compromise of fewer FPS is a disappointment.
