In a new video blog, Executive Producer Andie Nordgren discusses new features of the MMO EVE Online.
The team is currently working on several new features for the space MMO EVE Online, including the Citadel expansion. This is set to be released this spring and will allow you to build and expand space stations, the Citadels. These are gigantic constructs that you need to build together in a team. Additionally, an interesting feature is coming to the game: the control of fighter squads. You will be able to send them into battles and choose formations, for example.
Trade with your skill points
Another major topic is skill trading. This feature will allow you to remove gained skill points that you do not need from the skills and then sell them. The buyer can then simply use them and improve as a result.
This provides another way to improve in the game, especially for players who have a lot of money available but less time to earn skill points themselves. The skill trading feature is expected to be introduced in February with an update.
A new launcher is already available, which makes it easier for you to access the game’s test server. Here, you can try out new features before they go live. In the options of EVE Online, you will now also find new camera options. These are designed to provide additional perspectives on the action.
