The Psijik Order of the Summerset addon offers you the opportunity to join a new “guild” in the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, through which you will gain new skills. In this guide, we will tell you how to advance in the Psijik Order and acquire the skill line.
The Questline of the Psijik Order
The rise in the Psijik Order. As you may know from other guilds, you will first need to prove yourself through a questline and work your way up the ranks.
The first steps from “The Queen’s Decree”
The first steps are as follows:
- You start the questline “The Queen’s Decree,” which leads you to Artaeum.
- Once at Artaeum, seek out Celarus in the Ceporah Tower and speak to him.
- This starts the quest “The Call of the Psijik.”
- Now travel to the Coral Cliffs to find the Augur of the Obscure in a chest on the beach. This is necessary to close the time rifts. Use the map for this.
- The Augur will lead you to the rifts and will give you a hint when you are nearby.
- Use the Augur when you reach a rift to close it.
- In total, there are 9 time rifts in Summerset.
Step 2: Close Rifts
You should then close more rifts located outside the islands at the following places:
- Glenumbra
The burial mounds northwest of the Dolmen of Daenia, Wyrd Tree of the Beldama - Stumhafen
Kamberland Falls, Moonshadow Sinkhole, south of Koeglin Lighthouse - Alik’r Desert
The Eastern Refuge, east of Ragnthar, Salas En
Return repeatedly to Celarus and Josajeh, who are the two quest givers of the questline. You need to close nine rifts again, which you will find here:
- Eastmarch
Wittestadr, Thane Jeggis’ Drinking Hole, south of Dunelwater Crossing - Rift
Dolmen of the Rock Pool, west of the Foe Peak Caverns, Breakbone Cave - Stone Falls
East of the Way Shrine of the Sulfur Pools, west of the Way Shrine at the Brothers of Discord, Senie

Step 3: “Staves of the Towers” – Find the Pieces of the Shattered Staff
Upon successful completion of these tasks, you will receive the quest to find four pieces of the shattered “Staff of the Towers.” Your map and also a beam of light near the staff pieces will help you locate the pieces. You will find the parts here:
- Pelin Cemetery in Bangkorei
- Hist in Shadowfen
- Lekis Blade in Alik’r Desert
- Venom Tooth Tip in Deshaan
Step 4: New Rifts Need to be Closed at These Locations
Subsequently, new time rifts were discovered that you need to close again:
- Grahtwood
North of Remanstrug, Bonehouse of Telacar, Gil-Var-Tall - Malabal Tor
North of the Dolmen of Xylotal, Horseshoe Island, north of the Way Shrine in Wildlings’ Run - Green Shade
North of the Hillgrave, the Labyrinth, Fisher’s Rest - Deshaan
Bthanual, Malak’s Abyss, west of the Dolmen of Lagomere, Shrine of the Holy Veloth, near the entrance of the Darkshade Cavern - Shadowfen
West of Hei-Halai, Mothermoore, the Silt Marsh, Dolmen of the Venom Pool
Step 5: Search Again for Parts for the Staff
Now you need to search for another four parts of the staff:
- Brothers of Discord in Stone Falls
- Sorcery Scar in Kargsteinn
- Greenheart in Green Shade
- Sorrowing Giant in Stumhafen
Step 6: Mine of Divad’s Displeasure – Complete the Dungeon
After you have closed several time rifts in the Rift Peak and in Kargsteinn (use your map), you will realize that the Staff of the Towers has been stolen. Your task is to find it. This leads you to the dungeon “Mine of Divad’s Displeasure” in the Alik’r Desert. There, you will face a boss fight, which concludes the questline of the Psijik Order.
Afterwards, you will have risen to the highest rank and gained access to all abilities provided to you by the order.
