Regularly, the PvP event Midyear Mayhem takes place in The Elder Scrolls Online. During the event, all players are invited to bash each other’s heads in the PvP modes.
When does Midyear Mayhem take place? The event starts on January 10, 2019, at 4 PM and ends on January 21 at 4 PM. You have 11 days to participate in Midyear Mayhem.
How the PvP bonus works
How to earn more experience points: During the event, you can activate a scroll that grants you a 100% bonus in Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and the battlegrounds for two hours. The bonus affects the alliance points and experience points you receive when killing other players.
How to obtain the scroll: Go to the Crown Store in the game and get the ticket “Details about Midyear Mayhem”. You need to activate this ticket and then travel to Cyrodiil via the Alliance War menu.
There, you will find the herald Marea, who will give you the quest “Midyear Mayhem”. Completing the quest will reward you with the “Scroll of Pelinal’s Torment and Pelinal’s Midyear Gift”.
Score special loot during the event
If you are out in PvP and diligently collecting alliance points, you will regularly receive a message containing “just reward”. This is a collection of items. During Midyear Mayhem, “just reward” is replaced by a box containing “Pelinal’s Midyear Gift”. You can also obtain this box through daily PvP quests.
Included in “Pelinal’s Midyear Gift” are, among other things, transmutation crystals, style pages for your alliance and the Akaviri, as well as prismatic runestones.
Crown yourself with a laurel wreath: Especially diligent players can adorn themselves with an exclusive head item. The Midyear Laurel Wreath is reserved for those who complete seven Midyear Mayhem achievements.
- Mayhem Expert: Receive the blessing of the White Snake at your alliance gate during the event.
- Echo of Pelinal’s Wrath: Study one of the scrolls about Pelinal’s Torment during the event.
- Hand of the White Strake: Play until you receive “Pelinal’s Midyear Gift” 25 times.
- Grim of the White Strake: Defeat 50 enemies during the event duration.
- Pelinal the Scourge: Win a battleground match during the event.
- Pelinaline the Bloody: You must capture a castle in Cyrodiil during Midyear Mayhem.
- Pelinerrig the Rebel: Go to the Imperial City and capture an Imperial district during the event.
Get Your First Indrik Berry
During the event, players can collect event tickets again and exchange them for feathers for the Indrik at Impresaria in Daggerfall, Davon’s Watch, and Vulkhel Guard. All feathers from previous events can be purchased retroactively.
How to obtain the Duskwood Berry: Newly added is the Duskwood Berry of Blooming. You can get this for 10 event tickets at Impresaria. Together with the three other Duskwood Berries, your Indrik can transform into the Duskwood Indrik. The other berries can be obtained during the upcoming events.
