The current DLC Clockwork City for The Elder Scrolls Online is now available for the consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. On the new Xbox One X, it looks even more magnificent.
Until now, only PC players were allowed to explore the mysterious Clockwork City of Sotha Sil in the new ESO DLC. The DLC release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (X) has been delayed by a few weeks due to the necessary approval processes at Sony and Microsoft.
But now Clockwork City is finally here, and those who have an Xbox One X can experience the Clockwork City in particularly stunning graphics!
4K and Better Graphics Effects on the Xbox One X
Especially on the new Xbox One X, the ESO addon looks even better thanks to 4K resolution, increased draw distance, improved shadows, and nicer water reflections.
The major highlights of the DLC are the many new features and content:
- There is a new raid called “Sanctorium”. There, you can decide which bosses to tackle and in what order, or if you prefer to challenge all three at once.
- You can explore the new capital Brass Fortress
- The Clockwork City itself is a vast new area filled with quests and public dungeons
- There are new armor sets
The DLC costs at least 2,000 crowns (12 euros). Those who do not purchase it can play it for free as part of an ESO Plus subscription as long as the subscription is active.
Update 16 Brings New PvP Modes and Transmutation
Players who do not purchase the DLC can still enjoy the free Update 16 of ESO. In addition to bug fixes and balance changes, it includes a new game mode for PvP battlegrounds. In the “mad king” mode, you must capture movable mission objectives. However, if you want to play battlegrounds, you need to own the large ESO addon “Morrowind”.
The new transmutation system is open to all players. With it, you can redistribute the properties of your weapons and customize them to suit your needs. The workbench is located in the Brass Fortress in the Clockwork City. However, you can place such a workbench in your home.
ESO is still popular. Thanks to the Morrowind chapter, it now has more than 10 million registered players.
