The closed beta of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov was supposed to start a few months ago, but the developers are taking more time to provide a good player experience. The shooter is considered ultra-realistic and hardcore.
Now there is an update regarding the status of the beta. According to this, the closed testing phase is approaching rapidly. The final systems are being optimized, and some things are still in the works. However, the goals set for the closed beta are coming within reach.
The game is being worked on diligently
Among the things currently still being worked on are:
Optimizations and bug fixes as well as further work and improvements on animations, equipment, external modules, and more.
Quests will be implemented soon. Currently, the focus is on incorporating trader missions and working on quests that are intended to help the player earn money, receive rare rewards, and gather resources.
A “insurance system” for all who participate in raids and lose equipment due to defeat.
Loot and economy – This includes tools for trading, medicine, and a revision of the balancing of existing systems.
New customizations for weapons.
A new area that is supposed to be twice as large as the forest landscape. However, the first version will still be small but will be expanded steadily.
Improvements to chat.
Bug fixing
Currently, there is no date when the closed beta of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov can be expected.
