No Man’s Sky Release: Is it only coming to PC a few days later?

PC users will have to wait longer for the release of No Man’s Sky.

In recent days and weeks, we have reported that No Man’s Sky will be released in Europe on August 10 for PS4 and PC. The official release in North America is already on August 9. However, considering the time difference, it doesn’t make much of a difference.

However, it seems that No Man’s Sky for PC will be delayed by a few days. The current official website states:

PS4 in North America on August 9
PS4 in Europe on August 10
PC worldwide on August 12

These details are currently causing confusion, as Hello Games has not yet made a clarifying announcement on this: It was assumed that the PS4 and PC launches would occur simultaneously.

To make the whole situation even more confusing: Steam indicates the release on August 10. Which date is the “real” one remains unknown. I suppose we will have to wait until the developers have decided on a PC release date.
