As Xbox One players eagerly await the console version of Black Desert, developer Pearl Abyss is working hard on the game so that fans can soon try it out in beta on the Xbox One.
The beta phase begins at the end of the year – Xbox One version nearly finished
First a beta, then the release. Pearl Abyss aims to release Black Desert as a beta version on Xbox One in fall 2018. The development of the game is nearly complete and won’t take much longer.
Although there is still no official release date, Pearl Abyss states that they want to release Black Desert as soon as possible after the beta test is completed.

The UI is being completely overhauled
Controller-friendly UI. The Xbox version of Black Desert will feature a completely revamped user interface to ensure optimal use with the Xbox controller. Unlike mouse and keyboard, controllers have many fewer buttons, which necessitated some changes in control scheme.
However, there is the option to give Xbox players the same commands as PC players. Nevertheless, this will complicate the controls, and the developers believe that players do not want that.

Shared PC and Xbox servers? Unfortunately, there will be no shared servers between the Xbox version and the PC version of Black Desert. Although Pearl Abyss has the necessary technology to enable this, there are clear differences between the two versions, which is why they decided against it.
Black Desert is also eyeing the PS4
Is Black Desert coming to the PS4? According to Pearl Abyss, it won’t just stop with Xbox and PC. Each platform has its own advantages and is therefore interesting for the development team. They are trying to make the game playable on as many platforms as possible: this is likely to include PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
