An adventure from Germany as a highlight
What kind of game is Deponia? Deponia is a point & click adventure from the German studio Daedalic Entertainment. You experience adventures on a landfill and must solve various puzzles and mini-games to progress.
The game is especially characterized by its loving visuals, great sound, and fantastic voice acting. The first part was released in 2012, and the last one in 2013. Overall, the collection is said to offer about 40 hours of fun.
Our colleagues from GameStar tested the game and gave it a rating of 85 (via GameStar).
What other games are there? The Pillars of the Earth is also a game by Daedalic. It is about, just like in the book and film, the construction of a cathedral in 12th century England. The game is based on real events and tells an exciting story.
Our colleagues from GameStar even called it more of an audio play than a classic adventure in their review. It received a score of 74 (via GameStar).
The last title in the series is The First Tree, an adventure where you take on the role of a fox and embark on a quest to find your family. This game is especially characterized by its emotional storytelling.
