The Epic Games Store now uses cloud save. The feature is already known from Steam and offers synchronization of game saves in the cloud. Also, next week you can get For Honor and Alan Wake for free.
About this: Epic Games founder Tim Sweeney has now confirmed via Twitter a cloud save function for the Epic Games Store. You can thus save game progress outside of your own hard drive in the cloud and prevent data loss. The new feature was originally supposed to be released in mid-June.
Additionally, the online melee game For Honor and the horror game Alan Wake will be available for free in the Epic Store from August 2 to 9.
How can I activate cloud save? The feature can be enabled in the general settings of the Epic Games Launcher and should already be activated by default.
In the menu of your game, you can additionally check whether the cloud save feature is activated.
Are all games supported? Currently, only a few selected new titles support the new feature – including the currently free game Moonlighter. Support for additional games is expected to follow shortly.

To get For Honor for free, you must first download the Epic Games Launcher and create an Epic account.
Then simply add the game to your account during the mentioned period and keep it permanently.
