The MMO shooter Enlisted has already made a quarter of a million dollars.
The model of “Enlisted” seems to be well received by players. The MMO shooter will definitely be released and has already found a publisher in Gaijin, who is convinced and on board. However, a crowdfunding campaign is still running with the idea: “The more backers we get, the bigger we can make the game.” Enlisted aims to depict the battles of World War II.
Now, within two weeks, the first crowdfunding goal has been reached. They have raised 250,000 US dollars and want to bring the Tunisia campaign into the game, alongside the battles of Normandy and Moscow.
When the goal was reached shortly before Christmas, Enlisted paused the sales and is now letting players vote on where a possible fourth campaign should take place. Options include Stalingrad or Berlin. They plan to start the development of this campaign once the half a million mark is reached.
