What are magical encounters? These are important components of Wizards Unite. Your goal is to complete the magical encounters and bring the creatures in these encounters back to the wizarding world.
In doing so, you must fight against evil curses and free creatures. Sometimes you also have to fight against creatures from the wizarding world.
After the beta version was released in New Zealand and Australia, there are already good insights into some magical encounters and how to solve them. We will give you an example.
This is how magical encounters take place in Wizards Unite
Where can I find magical encounters? You can find magical encounters all over the world of Wizards Unite. They are not as common as Pokémon in Pokémon GO, but you can find them everywhere.
What magical encounters look like: A magical encounter takes place in several steps:
- Click on the magical encounter on your screen
- Search for the encounter in your AR mode in your surroundings
- The magical creature(s) will appear, and you will be explained what is happening in this situation
- It will be determined how dangerous this encounter is for the wizarding world. The higher the bar, the harder it gets
- A spell will be outlined on your screen that you can trace.
- You can use potions to make your spell stronger
- Depending on how strong your spell was, you will free the magical creature or defeat the enemies
- The creature returns to the wizarding world, and you get an entry in your inventory

What do I gain from magical encounters? In addition to experience points, you primarily bring the magical creature for registration. Here you can collect all magical creatures. The goal is to complete this collection.
Where else can I fight? In addition to magical encounters, you can also fight creatures in dungeons. Here you have to defeat the creatures and not free them. This can also be done together with friends. For example, your career choice plays a big role.
