Guild Wars 2 – Episode 4 puts an end to the White Mantle
Guild Wars 2 continues its living story on February 6. In Episode 4, it’s finally against the Cult of the White Mantle that has secretly plagued the nation of Kryta for a long time. In addition to the new story episodes, you also get a hearty raid!
Enough is enough!
In Episode 4 of the living story, it’s all about Queen Jennah’s counterattack against the White Mantle. This secret group has posed as the main opposing faction of the players since the first Guild Wars game. Many centuries later, in Guild Wars 2, it becomes increasingly clear that the White Mantle has certainly not been defeated.
Rather, the Mantle bearers have infiltrated and undermined the kingdom of Kryta for years. There are spies of the Mantle everywhere, and hardly anyone suspects what the rogues are planning. Besides the threat from the ancient dragons, the cultists are therefore a great danger. Thus, in the current episode, you also get to work against them on behalf of Queen Jennah.
To the raid!
In addition to the new adventures in Episode 4, ArenaNet also gives you another raid. The so-called “Bastion of the Penitent” is located in the Bloodstone Marshes, which were created by the detonation of the Maguuma Bloodstone.

There, alongside numerous enemies and traps, four big bosses are waiting for you. Only well-coordinated raid teams, where everyone optimally masters their class, have a chance for victory and loot here. All others will quickly find themselves biting the dust. So, if you want to check out Guild Wars 2 again, February is the ideal opportunity.
