Patch 1.14 for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has been released and brings many changes. One improvement makes a talisman really interesting.
This is the patch: Patch 1.14 was released on September 10, 2024, and brought some changes. Among other things, the final boss of the DLC has been weakened, bugs have been fixed, PvP balance has been adjusted, and many weapons received tweaks.
This includes the weapons of Elden Ring DLC boss Rellana. The twin blades of Rellana have been improved, which you receive when you defeat her in Castle Ensis and exchange her echo at the finger reader in the table of grace.
These blades now have increased attribute scaling for lower intelligence and faith attributes. However, particularly exciting is another item from Rellana’s collection: her talisman. It pairs well with swords, as well as with other weapons.
Rellana’s cameo is now much stronger in the Elden Ring DLC
This is the talisman: “Rellana’s Cameo” is a talisman from the Elden Ring DLC that you can find inside Castle Ensis. The talisman lies on an altar there.
So far, this talisman improved attacks by 15% when the posture was not changed for a while. With these effects, Rellana’s Cameo was not really the first choice for many players, who preferred to use the Alexander’s Shard. However, both the activation time and the damage boost have now been significantly improved.
This is the improvement: While the patch notes do not clearly state how substantial the improvement is, players have already figured out where the values lie.
Now the talisman boosts attacks not just by 15%, but by a full 45%. Additionally, the activation time has been reduced to one second.
This makes it much more interesting for players. For instance, the talisman works well with one of the best weapons in the game, the Moonveil katana. It is also suitable for Rellana’s twin blades, as well as for several other weapons.
Thus, you have a new, really strong option to further develop and improve your builds in the Elden Ring DLC.
