CS:GO – Terrorists against Overwatch Agents?
The last days before the release of a long-awaited game are often a nightmare for true fans. Especially with Overwatch, the excitement often turns into an agonizing longing until one can finally plunge back into the battlefields of the future. Instead of simply waiting apathetically in a desk chair for the release, YouTuber eNinja grabbed some friends and recreated the game in Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).
They not only took on the character names of the different Overwatch heroes but also copied their playstyle and created corresponding profile pictures. McCree was allowed to use only his revolver and flashbangs, while Bastion set up on an elevation and simply sprayed down with the MG from there – and Widowmaker… well, she just pulls out her sniper rifle.
This is rounded off with a typical “Play of the Game” and slight role-playing elements, as the players repeatedly typed the well-known catchphrases of the Blizzard heroes in the chat.
Fortunately, players don’t have to wait long for relief: Overwatch will be released on Monday night at 1:00 AM simultaneously for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
