Tentagra appears new in Pokémon GO, but was previously difficult to obtain. Now it’s suddenly very easy.
What was the problem? Tentagra, the plant variant of Tentacha, recently made its debut in Pokémon GO. During Adventure Week, it could be caught in the wild for the first time.
But: It could only be caught in the forest biome.
That was frustrating for everyone who doesn’t have a suitable forest nearby. With the new shiny Schligda, trainers faced a very similar problem. But at least when it comes to Tentagra, there’s good news now: You can find it much, much easier.
It’s now so easy to catch Tentagra
Where can you find Tentagra now? As it currently looks, the answer is quite simple: everywhere. The Pokémon with the number 0948 seems to have made its way into the regular spawn pool after Adventure Week. At least trainers apparently find it at all sorts of locations now. Here in our city, it suddenly appears very easily nearby.
Trainers also shared in the Pokémon GO subreddit, “TheSilphRoad”, that Tentagra can even appear as the “daily spawn.” That is the randomly appearing Pokémon that you can collect right nearby when you open the game.
And as if that weren’t enough, even Tentagra’s evolution Tenterra seems to be partially catchable in the wild. So you can easily secure number 0949 in the Pokédex.
So: If you are looking for Tentagra, it’s best to catch it soon. Because right now it’s super easy to catch this Pokémon. Who knows if that will change again.
By the way: If you want to seize the opportunity to collect as many candies for Tentagra as possible, you should set your Pokédex radar to the Pokémon. In that case, you’ll be notified when it’s nearby. However, this only works if you’ve already seen one.
