EA has introduced 8 new icons for the upcoming EA Sports FC 25. MeinMMO shows you which legends have been presented.
What are icons in EA Sports FC 25? Icons are special cards made for former players who have been immortalized as legends in football history. They usually have good stats, making them useful for your Ultimate Team.
For EA Sports FC 25, eight new icons were presented today, on 03.09.2024, that will find their way into the game with the release in September. Particularly exciting is a German legend, who has even the highest rating of the 8 new icons.

A German goalkeeper legend at the top
Which new icons have been introduced? EA released a new video on YouTube presenting the 8 new icons. At the top of the players is the German goalkeeper Nadine Angerer with a rating of 92. She became a two-time world champion and five-time European champion with the German national team during her career.
Just below her is the Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon with a rating of 91. He is an iconic player who played professionally for a whole 28 years. As captain of the Italian national team, Buffon became world champion in 2006. He played over 750 matches in professional football and was a long-time regular goalkeeper for the Italian record champion Juventus Turin.
Another exciting candidate is Gareth Bale with a rating of 88. The fan favorite comes from Wales and played for the Welsh national team from 2006 to 2022. He holds the record for the most goals from Wales with 41 goals in 111 appearances. He reaches the peak of his career at Real Madrid when he won the Champions League alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
