How to obtain backup codes:
- Log into your EA account (via EA.com), through the user icon in the upper right corner.
- If you land back on the main page, click the icon again.
- Select account settings.
- Click on “Security”.
- There you will find the backup codes section, where you need to click on “View”.
- You may receive a verification code via email for this. This is not the correct code yet. However, you need this code to display the other codes.
- Therefore, it is crucial that you complete this step before the web app release, otherwise, you could face the same problem again.
- Now you will receive 6 personal codes that you can write down and use for login.
- But: Do not share these codes, as they can be used to log into your EA accounts. Keep them safe or delete them after use.
If there are login issues at the start of the Web App as before, you now at least have one more option for logging in.
However, please note that you can only access the management aspects of Ultimate Team in the Web App – real gameplay on the virtual soccer field will only be available during early access on Friday.
