With Salah, a new professional joins the absolute top players with a 91 OVR. Mbappé was already among the top professionals in FC 25 and maintains his position at the top with a 91 OVR.
Rodri and Haaland, who also had a 91 OVR last year, must settle for a slight downgrade to a 90 this year.
Especially the players of Paris Saint-Germain can look forward to strong upgrades after their successful season. All 3 PSG players are new to the top list.

Why are ratings important? At the start, the ratings are one of the major indicators of which players could belong to the meta in FC 26. In Ultimate Team, the top 100 professionals at the start are among the most sought-after and expensive players and are rarer to get than other players.
