With the start of EA FC 26, many packs are being opened and you are wondering how to recognize the strongest cards in Ultimate Team this year. On MeinMMO, we will tell you how to easily notice a Walkout in advance.
What are Walkouts in EA FC? Walkouts are referred to in Ultimate Team as players with a rating of at least 86. In the special pack animation, these professionals emerge behind their card (hence the name Walkout) and can be celebrated.
Especially at the beginning of EA FC, these cards are highly sought after because they are rarer and often more valuable than most other cards.
Starting from Tuesday evening (September 16, 2025), the first streamers will open countless packs and let their fans participate in the pack openings.
How to recognize a Walkout in FC 26? You can easily recognize a Walkout in FC 26. After you open the pack in the shop, the camera shows the left wall of the player tunnel from a distance on the right side. Then, the camera pans to the end of the player tunnel, where the star reveals himself in his silhouette.
After that, the camera zooms alternately onto different banners. The player’s attributes are displayed to you in the following order:
- Position
- Nation
- League
- Club
In the end, the card initially appears without a player image, but with stats and the PlayStyle+ (if available). Then the rating counts up, and finally, the full card along with image and rating appears. In the end, the pulled professional shows up and performs a celebration in front of his card.
What other pack animations are there?
How do the other pack animations differ from the Walkout? In addition to the Walkout, there are also Board Players and regular Gold cards.
- Board Cards (Rating 83 to 85): The camera zooms in the player tunnel immediately on the banner with the position; there is no distant camera angle on the player tunnel. Presentation of attributes is the same as for a Walkout.
- Gold Cards (Rating 75 to 82): There is no player tunnel. The card appears immediately on the screen. Only the rating and player image show up a short time later.
Silver and Bronze cards do not receive any special animations like regular Gold cards up to rating 82.
How have the animations changed compared to FC 25? In FC 25, you initially saw the player tunnel from the front in the case of a Board Player or a Walkout. At the end of the tunnel, the silhouette of the player was visible for a relatively long time.
The silhouette of the player is only briefly visible in FC 26. The jerky camera perspectives, which gradually reveal attributes such as position, nation, league, and club, are similar to the predecessor.
Recognizing Walkouts is therefore as easy as it has ever been. It gets exciting when you pull special Walkouts like Icons, Heroes, Team of the Weeks, or other promo cards.
