Which dates are important? To gain a slight advantage upon the launch of Ultimate Team, you should keep an eye on important dates.
This includes, for example:
- Release of the Web App and Companion App
- Early Access and official release
- First rewards in the various game modes in Ultimate Team
- First promo teams and events
If you know when to expect these dates, you can simply plan better and prioritize.
FC 26 Calendar for Ultimate Team with all important dates
What does the calendar show? You can find the most important dates regarding the launch of Ultimate Team in the calendar. Some dates are already officially confirmed, while others have a very high probability of occurring on that day, but are not yet official.
We rely on the leaks from the X account of the well-known insider FUTReveal for the unconfirmed dates. Moreover, we have cross-referenced the leaks with our experience and suspect that the dates could indeed happen as predicted.
Important note: To distinguish confirmed dates from unconfirmed ones, the official dates are highlighted in bold, while unconfirmed dates are italicized.

Important date highlights in detail
Release of the Web App/ Companion App
Why is the Web/Companion App important? The Web App is the first access point to your Ultimate Team in FC 26. Here you can create your new club, set a preferred nation for your first professionals, and choose emblems and kits.
In the past, only players who owned a club in the predecessor had access to the Web App in FC 26. We expect the same this year.
Other important aspects of the Web App are:
- Claim welcome packs
- Monitor and scout the transfer market
- Complete SBCs
- Set up your starter squad’s lineup and tactics
With the Companion App, you can usually download the official companion app for EA FC 26 one day later. The Companion App provides you with a version better tailored to your mobile device, allowing you to manage your club easily on the go.
Early Access via Ultimate Edition/ EA Play
Why is Early Access important? Once Early Access is available for pre-orders of the Ultimate Edition or for subscribers of EA Play, you can really get started. All modes are fully available to you.
You can use the early access to familiarize yourself with the gameplay or to start making progress in Ultimate Team and earning rewards. This gives you an edge over players who only join a week or later.

Official Release
Why is the official release important? This date is the starting point for the majority of players. The game will not only be available in digital form to pre-orders of the Standard Edition, but will also be released as a physical disc in stores.
Players with early access will notice that from this day on, many more players are online in all online modes. Specifically for Ultimate Team, this means that the transfer market will be in full swing because far more players will be opening packs, offering their drawn professionals on the market, and wanting to buy other professionals themselves.
Experience shows that the games in competitive modes become somewhat easier, especially for players with early access, as newcomers need time to adjust to the new gameplay changes.

1st Squad Battles/ Division Rivals Rewards
Why are the 1st rewards important? Players with early access should play as much as they can to quickly rise in ranks and divisions. Packs, especially good packs, are not easy to come by at the start.
2 days after early access, the first Squad Battles rewards are likely to be released. Matches against the CPU can be used to get into the game. As a reward, you can typically expect the first rewards on Sunday at 10:00, with which you will receive better players and more coins.
You can use these to upgrade your team. Then you have until Thursday to measure yourself against real opponents in Division Rivals. On Thursday morning, you can expect your Rivals rewards to strengthen your team further.
This way, ideally, you already have a good starter team before many players start building their teams at the official release.
Team of the Week (TOTW)
Why are the first Team of the Weeks important? As inconsequential as the TOTW cards may become over time in Ultimate Team, they are crucial at the start. Even before the first real events, the TOTWs with their upgrades are among the only special cards you can get and are therefore highly sought after.
Each TOTW matters in the beginning. Either they strengthen your team, or you can use them for a strong Squad Building Challenge (SBC) or even sell them profitably.
Building up a small stock of TOTW could prove beneficial for the further course of Ultimate Team in FC 26.
