What does the stat “Pace” mean in EA FC? A player’s pace is fundamentally made up of two values in EA FC:
- Acceleration
- Sprint speed
Since their introduction in FIFA 23, acceleration types also play an important role:
- explosive: fast in the first few meters, slightly slower in top speed
- controlled: moderate acceleration and top speed
- sustained: slower off the mark, high top speed
What else is important for pace? Two playstyles are equally important, which can give your player’s pace a substantial boost. The two playstyles that additionally influence a player’s pace are:
- Quick Step: gives your acceleration with and without the ball a pace boost
- Frenzy: when dribbling with the ball at full sprint, you don’t lose pace
