A German FC-24 professional took on an experiment and started with a complete team of women in the toughest competition of EA FC 24: the UT Champions Weekend League. Find out how successful this was here.
Since the integration of women into Ultimate Team in the FIFA successor EA Sports FC 24, there have been voices questioning the innovation due to supposedly lacking realism. EA Sports then explained that the focus is on the fantasy aspect of Ultimate Team.
Even streamer Montanablack expressed his frustration about women cards in Ultimate Team.
However, the German streamer and FC-24 professional UmutGTK (via Twitch), who plays for the RB Leipzig eSports team, shows in a new video that one can be very successful with a complete women’s team.
How the Weekend League went with a complete women’s team
This was UmutGTK’s team: The squad that the professional chose is by no means an extremely strong team. It has an overall rating of 83 and according to UmutGTK, a value of about 100,000 coins.
The strongest is probably the Inform card of Rachael Kundananji (85), who is very popular due to her 5-star weak foot and 4-star skill moves and currently costs about 36,000 coins.
One searches in the professional’s team in vain for real star players like Sam Kerr or Alexia Putellas.
By the way, the MadReady card of player Kerr was the focus of a fraud attempt that a player fell for and had to pay a hefty lesson.
How the Weekend League went for the professional: UmutGTK published a collage of the highlights on YouTube that shows how extraordinarily successful he played with his women’s team.
Out of the 20 matches of the Weekend League, UmutGTK won an impressive 19 and only faced his first defeat in the 12th match. He finished the Weekend League with a record of 19-1 and secured rank-1 rewards.
