The E3 2017 is just around the corner. Here are all the press conference dates in the schedule. We are providing the livestreams so that you don’t miss any game highlights here in Germany.
It’s time: The E3 2017 starts this weekend with the first press conferences. Major publishers and game developers will showcase their latest hardware and software products – aiming to whet the appetite of gamers from all over the world.
The E3 is the world’s most significant gaming fair. In 2017, it takes place from June 13 to June 15 at the “Los Angeles Convention Center”. However, the press conferences will be held in the days leading up to it, often staged as large-scale shows.

All Dates for the Livestreams of the E3 2017 Press Conferences
If you are not on site, you can watch the press conferences and game highlights in Germany via livestream. Here are the important dates for E3 2017 at a glance.
EA Play – Livestream
- When: Saturday, June 10, 2017 – 9 PM
- Livestream: Twitch
Game Highlights: From Electronic Arts, who are holding their “EA Play” event in the run-up to E3, we expect quite a bit this year. There will be information on Star Wars Battlefront 2 and FIFA 18. In addition to more sports games, we can look forward to information on Need for Speed Payback and Battlefield 1. We are also curious if there will be first footage of “Dylan“. It is said to be a hefty “semi-MMO” – similar to Destiny or The Division.

- FIFA 18: Gameplay trailer and the return of Alex Hunter
- Anthem: Trailer – New game by BioWare is considered “Destiny-like”
- Battlefield 1: In The Name of the Tsar arrives in September with 6 maps
- Star Wars Battlefront II: The new gameplay trailer from E3 is impressive
Microsoft / Xbox – Press Conference Livestream
- When: Sunday, June 11, 2017 – 11 PM
- Livestream: Twitch
Highlights: All eyes will be on the Xbox Scorpio at Microsoft. There might finally be a concrete release date and price. In addition, there will be some games to see – like Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2. There will probably also be a few surprises.
Update: Here’s what we learned during the Xbox stream:
- Xbox One X – This is the new Microsoft console (release and price)
- Assassin’s Creed Origins: Release and trailer
- PUBG comes launch-exclusive for Xbox One
- Black Desert will be released on Xbox One first, release period
- Sea of Thieves: Gameplay with treasure chests and skeletons, release period
- Anthem: Third-person shooter and RPG, gameplay video
Bethesda – Press Conference Livestream
- When: Monday, June 12, 2017 – 6 AM
- Livestream: Twitch
Game Highlights: Bethesda will show us new things about Dishonored, Doom, Fallout, Prey, Quake, and The Elder Scrolls. There are also speculations about a Wolfenstein and sequels to The Evil Within and Rage.
Devolver Digital – Press Conference Livestream
- When: Monday, June 12, 2017 – 7 AM
- Livestream: Twitch
Game Highlights: Devolver Digital is a publisher of indie games. In summer, Absolver will be next. Presumably, there will be new footage to see.
PC Gaming Show – Livestream
- When: Monday, June 12, 2017 – 7 PM
- Livestream: Twitch
Highlights: Here, PC games are the focus. The event is traditionally significantly smaller than those of the major publishers. However, you will surely get to see one or two interesting games here as well.

- PUBG trailer shows weather effects and climbing mechanics
- Destiny 2 receives more power on PC through multi-core support
- LawBreakers release for PC and PS4 known, open beta coming soon
Ubisoft – Press Conference Livestream
- When: Monday, June 12, 2017 – 10 PM
- Livestream: Twitch
Game Highlights: Ubisoft will have a lot to offer this year. From Far Cry 5 to The Crew 2 and South Park to the new Assassin’s Creed, gaming fans can look forward to numerous upcoming highlights. There may also be information about the future of The Division.
Update: Here’s what we learned during the Ubisoft press conference:
- Assassin’s Creed Origins – New trailer showcases the beauty of the open world
- The Crew 2: Release brings motorcycles, boats, and airplanes into the open world
- Far Cry 5 gameplay trailer featuring a brutal harvester and dog companion
- Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer – Adventure hit finally gets a sequel
- Starlink: Toy and open-world action game in one
Sony / PlayStation – Press Conference Livestream
- When: Tuesday, June 13, 2017 – 3 AM
- Livestream: Twitch
Game Highlights: After the PS4 Pro was released just last year, hardware announcements this year are rather unlikely. Sony will focus entirely on upcoming games for the PlayStation, including Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, God of War, Gran Turismo Sport, and maybe even one or the other “Naughty Dog” game. We also expect to see the presence of Destiny 2, Call of Duty WW2, and perhaps even Red Dead Redemption 2.
Update: The Sony press conference gave us the following highlights:
- Monster Hunter World: Release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, trailer
- Call of Duty WW2: Beta start announced – Multiplayer trailer
- Destiny 2: Beta start, release date for PC, trailer
Nintendo – Livestream
- When: Tuesday, June 13, 2017 – 6 PM
- Livestream: Twitch
Game Highlights: Nintendo is hosting a “Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017”. Immediately afterwards, the “Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3” event will take place. Super Mario Odyssey and the recently announced Pokémon Tekken DX for the Switch will be showcasing.
