An appearance of The Division at E3 is not yet confirmed. But for hardly any other game is new information about the future as important as for The Division. The shared-world shooter has been sailing through the gaming world for almost half a year without new content, and fresh, exciting material is still not in sight.
Year 2, in which we are currently, is expected to bring several unannounced innovations. E3 would be a suitable stage to talk about this “incredible new content”.
Last year at E3, there was not only information about the Underground DLC that was about to arrive but also about Survival, which was still months away. Massive is also welcome to provide information about the distant future this year. Possibly even about a The Division 2?
If there will be information about The Division, it will likely be during the Ubisoft press conference.
It is known that Massive is currently also working on an Avatar game. This is not expected to be released until 2020. For meaningful material, E3 2017 will probably be too early.
