How is the release proceeding? Dune: Awakening launches in two phases. Owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions have been able to access the game since Thursday. For everyone else, the survival MMO starts today at 4:00 PM.

Welcome to our live ticker for the Dune: Awakening release. It starts at 4:00 PM when all players can access the servers. Here you will find all the important information bundled. But before the release begins, we will keep our eyes open for news and announcements from the developers and list them here in the ticker. Feel free to bookmark our ticker so you can always return.
Is there a preload? Yes, all owners of Dune: Awakening can download the game before the release. At release, the files just need to be installed.
How has the release been so far? The head start release initially went quite smoothly, but when nearly 100,000 players pressed onto the servers in the evening, there were issues with the login servers. This was particularly frustrating not only for new players wanting to start, but also for players already logged in who could not return to their world after some missions played on other servers.
New servers and worlds also had to be launched during the release to cope with the influx of new players. Throughout the weekend, servers were repeatedly closed so that no new characters could be created. However, this restriction usually lasted only a few hours. After that, new characters could again be created on the old servers.
