A new video about the upcoming space multiplayer game Dreadnought (PC, PS4) shows you 19 minutes of how the battlecruisers fight in space.
Dreadnought puts you in the role of a battleship commander, a so-called Dreadnought. As a mercenary, your only goal is to win battles and reap the rewards. Others think the same way, leading to giant team battles. You team up with other spaceship captains to form a fleet that you send into battle against other teams.
PvP and Teamplay
The game thus fully relies on PvP and team combat, which take place tactically due to the somewhat slower speed of the large spaceships. However, battles take place not only in space but also in the orbit and atmosphere of various planets, leading to varied battlefields.
Through the rewards you receive in battles, you improve your ships and purchase, for example, more powerful weapons.

The video clearly shows how important team play is and that you should come up with a sophisticated tactic. In the video, the developers explain more about the game – but in English.
It is interesting to see the presentation of the ability slots, in which you can place certain “abilities” that change how a spaceship plays. However, you always have to consider carefully which abilities you want to use.
Dreadnought is currently in open beta and will be released for PC and PlayStation 4. A single-player campaign is not planned.
