The streamer Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm has lost many friends and business partners since it became known why he was banned from Twitch in 2020. In a stream on YouTube, he now talks about disappointments and introduces a partner who stands by him.
This is the situation around DrDisrespect: DrDisrespect has always been someone who collaborated with other streamers or publicly bantered with them. He playfully clashed with shroud, Asmongold, and xQc:
- he saw shroud as a wuss who had crashed a little scooter.
- xQc may have tens of thousands of viewers, but he only plays children’s games.
- MMORPGs like WoW are the worst, he said towards Asmongold. If streamers only played stuff like that, they would all soon be unemployed because nobody would want to watch.
But these banterings with other streamers became difficult already after his Twitch ban in 2020. Twitch implemented stricter rules that prohibited streamers from collaborating with DrDisrespect.
However, as more Twitch streamers later switched to YouTube, DrDisrespect was often seen with old friends and playing together in shooters, such as with TimTheTatman or CourageJD. He was also friends with Nickmercs and defended him when NickMercs got into trouble with Activision Blizzard over a statement regarding LGBTQ+.
But after his latest scandal, even close friends of DrDisrespect have distanced themselves.
DrDisrespect says: He has only been privately friends with one streamer over the years
This is what DrDisrespect says now: In a stream on YouTube, the streamer talks about how people have turned away from him to avoid being associated with him. Even people he never thought would.
DrDisrespect says: Normally, he lets no one close to him personally. There is online life and there is private life. He has never let anyone into his private life over the years.
But he made an exception for one person. He opened all doors for this person, included them in his close private circle. He loved this person. He offered them so many opportunities to advance in business, to network, he did everything for this person.
It got to the point where the baby-assassin [his daughter] called them uncle and aunt. But when this shit happened, what did they do? They gave me the cold shoulder. It… PUSSY! Fucking hypocritical pussy.
Who is he talking about? It is unknown. The chat on YouTube has two suspects: streamers Zlaner and TimTheTatman, with whom DrDisrespect has worked closely in the past.
But whether it is one of those two streamers is unclear:
TimTheTatman has actually been on a clear success path since 2017/2018, since he played Fortnite with Ninja. The burly, kind-hearted streamer is actually too successful to be orbiting DrDisrespect, who suffered a significant setback with the Twitch ban in 2020. TimTheTatman said, it breaks his heart, but he can no longer support DrDisrespect.
ZLaner was DrDisrespect’s former duo partner in Warzone. He distanced himself from DrDisrespect because he feared to alienate potential advertising partners.
Even if he may not have specifically promoted him, it is quite conceivable that DrDisrespect is really disappointed in TimTheTatman. He and TimTheTatman have apparently worked closely together all these years and the public banter seemed to stem from a healthy relationship. And TimTheTatman is really the kind of guy people would like to call uncle: Streamers are close to tears as they talk about what their friend DrDisrespect has done.
