For Dragon’s Prophet, an Asian MMO with collection factors, it is coming to an end in the USA. The service is closing.
Dragon’s Prophet is developed by the Taiwanese MMO studio Runewaker Entertainment and has been distributed in 3 regions so far. Now, the US publisher Daybreak Game Company is withdrawing. The former “Sony Online Entertainment” typically only publishes its own games.
The servers will close in mid-November in North America. There’s not much fuss about it. They say it was a tough decision and thank the players for their support. In recent weeks, they intended to provide additional seasonal content and items. Character transfers to Europe, for example, will not be supported.
They assure that this will not affect the European and Asian versions. Here in Europe, the German publisher Infernum distributes the game. There have been significant issues in the meantime. Last October, they filed for bankruptcy, and they managed to avert bankruptcy in March.
