Dragon’s Dogma Online is one of those games that many Europeans have had their eye on for some time. Unfortunately, the game is currently only playable in Japan, leaving fans here repeatedly disappointed or forced to find ways to access the game. However, the era of exclusivity may soon come to an end for Japan, as reported by Steparu.
New Hope for European Fans
It has been known for some time that Dragon’s Dogma Online is also set to come to Taiwan. However, now fans are also speculating about an English version, as the developer mentioned in a discussion about the upcoming Patch 2.1:
“As soon as we have established a solid foundation in Japan, I would like to consider spreading the game overseas, where there are still many online players.”
While this is far from a firm commitment, it at least gives (long-waiting) fans a bit of hope again. To make the wait a little more bearable, here is the new trailer for Patch 2.1 (albeit in Japanese).
Patch 2.1 is packed with new content, including plenty of quests and accompanying story that continues the narrative of the game world. New enemies, monsters, and thus also bosses are also on the way.
