Are you a subscriber to Twitch Prime or Amazon Prime? Then you can grab new cosmetic outfit sets for The Division 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for free. We explain what you need to do for this.
What’s the deal with the new loot? The Division 2 and the streaming platform Twitch have partnered, allowing Twitch Prime subscribers to now also grab exclusive cosmetic loot for free in the latest Division installment.
Anyone with Twitch Prime (or at least Amazon Prime) can secure the new items.
What does this Twitch Prime loot for The Division 2 look like? There are said to be four cosmetic outfits for agents in The Division 2 through Twitch Prime.
The first set “Sports Fan Spears” is already known and can be redeemed. It consists of a series of cosmetics themed around the fictional “Washington Spears” baseball team. This includes
- a jacket
- shorts
- a baseball cap
- a pair of shoes
- as well as a baseball catcher mask
The remaining three loot sets are expected to be released at a later date. What they will look like, what they will include, or when they will be available is currently not known.
They are currently listed as “coming soon”.
How do you get the Twitch Prime loot in The Division 2? If you have Twitch Prime or at least the paid Amazon Prime subscription, you don’t really need to do much.
If you already have an Amazon Prime subscription but not Twitch Prime yet, you can simply add the paid Twitch premium service for free. Twitch Prime is included with Amazon Prime. You just need to link your accounts. You can find detailed instructions on this page from Twitch.
If you are already a member of Twitch Prime, you only need to link your Ubisoft account (this is mandatory) with your Twitch Prime account. You do this via this page from Twitch Prime.
Just click “Claim Now” above the first loot set and follow the further instructions on the screen. Once you have successfully completed all necessary steps, you will receive a corresponding message on the screen and can collect your loot from the big box in the White House the next time you log into the game.
