Disney won’t like this – New shooter on Steam presents itself with cartoon design full of evil mice

A teaser shows first insights into the new FPS shooter “Mouse” on Steam, where you fight against cartoon mice in retro style.

Mouse is an announced first-person shooter from the indie studio Fumi Games, where you blast your way through a corrupt city.

The design of the game is inspired by the so-called “Rubber Hose” animation style, which you may also know from the popular co-op game Cuphead or from old Disney movies.

The design of the mouse enemies seen in the trailer strongly resembles the appearance of Mickey Mouse in his early days. Since Disney places a high value on a family-friendly image, the company will likely not appreciate this strong similarity to their flagship character in a shooter context.

You are on a deadly city journey as a detective

What kind of game will Mouse be? As private detective John Mouston, you must survive in a dangerous area and experience a story full of murder and deception.

Equipped with various weapons, such as a revolver, hammer, or dynamite, you deal with enemies. The game should give you many freedoms in how you tactically approach combat.

With the Fantastic-o-Matic power-up system, abilities and weapons can be continuously improved. Additionally, there are several machines within the city where you can purchase extra enhancing items.

When is the release of Mouse? So far, no specific release date has been mentioned. Currently, you can add Mouse to your wishlist on Steam to be notified when the shooter is available.

For which platforms will Mouse be released? The shooter will be released on Steam as well as for Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.
