What kind of anime is this? Digimon Beatbreak is the 11th season of the anime. However, the heroes from the first two seasons are no longer present. Instead, there is a new group of children.
This time we experience the adventures of Tomoro Tenma and his partner Digimon Gekkomon. He lives in the year 2050 and enjoys advanced technology. A central element in this season is the so-called Sapotama.
It is a device that operates with the help of artificial intelligence. As an energy source, the device uses e-Pulse, that is, human thoughts and emotional energy. It becomes clear early on that they are the new Digivices.

Where can I watch the anime? Currently, the anime is only available on Crunchyroll. There, you can watch the series in the original Japanese audio with German subtitles. However, you need a paid subscription for that. So far, only the first episode has been released. All subsequent episodes will follow on a weekly basis.
How is the anime being received so far? So far, only one episode of the anime is available to watch. But fans are already responding very positively to it. On IMDb, unfortunately, there are still too few ratings to get a definitive picture. However, the first 71 users rate it with an average of 9.1 out of 10 stars (as of: October 9, 2025, at 9:00 AM).
This already sets the series apart significantly from its predecessor. Digimon Ghost Game, the 10th season of the anime, has a rating of only 6.3 stars based on 194 ratings on IMDb. There are also initial voices on Reddit that the new anime is better than Ghost Game.
According to users, the anime Beatbreak is aimed at a more adult audience again. There is more action, and the hopes are high that there will be an exciting story again.
