Electronic Arts and Dice have released the Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission for Playstation VR.
If you own a Playstation 4 and a Playstation VR headset, you can now download the free Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission. You can find the download in the Playstation Store. Of course, you will need the main game, the online shooter Star Wars: Battlefront, to play.
Space Battle in Virtual Reality
If you have everything you need – Star Wars: Battlefront, a PS4, a Playstation VR headset, and a Playstation Camera – then the battle can begin! You will take on the role of an X-Wing pilot who plunges into a space battle against the evil Galactic Empire in a scenario based on the upcoming movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. With the Playstation VR headset, you are in the middle of the action and can look around freely in the cockpit of the starfighter. You will feel as if you are actually sitting in an X-Wing and taking part in the battle against TIE fighters and Star Destroyers.
Battle for the Planet Scarif
The Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission was released simultaneously with the new DLC Rogue One: Scarif, which has also been available to Season Pass holders since December 6. In this DLC, you experience a battle of the rebels against the Empire that takes place on and in the orbit of the planet Scarif. This planet also plays an important role in the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It is a paradisiacal, tropical world that has been taken over by the Empire. The rebels have a very special mission awaiting them there.
