The actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg is angry. Very angry. Diablo 4 has not been released for Mac, even though all other titles in the Diablo series were previously released on her “preferred gaming platform.” Her anger is now directed at Blizzard.
In front of an army of shoes, Whoopi Goldberg recorded a short video and uploaded it to Instagram. She emphasizes that there are more urgent crises, but she is still upset about the absence of Diablo 4 on the Apple platform. She, like many others, was looking forward to the release, some of whom have exaggerated.
What is her accusation? She criticizes Blizzard for not sufficiently warning Mac users that Diablo 4 will be available on PC only for Windows. Diablo, Diablo 2, and Diablo 3 have all been released for Mac, but Diablo 4 breaks that tradition. Her request to Blizzard is as follows:
Blizzard Entertainment, this is Whoopi. You know how much I love Diablo. I want you to allow those of us who use our Apple to play, to be able to play on the Apple! Take Diablo 4 and let us play and have a great time!
She had already purchased Diablo 4 in eager anticipation, but the game cannot be played on her computer. Blizzard had not released any information beforehand that the game only works for Windows. For the next installment, Blizzard can leave out the Mac platform, but since Whoopi has already paid for Diablo 4, she wants to play it now.

How did Blizzard respond? The head of Diablo 4, Rod Fergusson, commented on Goldberg’s furious speech in a tweet. He says that “the shouting from Whoopi Goldberg” was not on his bingo card for the launch, so he did not expect such a reaction.
Whether Diablo 4 will be released for Mac remains open, Fergusson said. In general, there has been no statement from Blizzard as to why the development team decided to omit the Mac version for the release.
Still, we hope for Whoopi Goldberg and all Apple users among you that Diablo 4 will still be released for Mac in some form. While Whoopi Goldberg likely has enough money to buy a PC with a Windows operating system, we wouldn’t want her to have to make that switch.
