On the early morning of June 16, there was a new patch for Diablo 4. The hotfix primarily changed something regarding the world levels and fixed errors. MeinMMO provides the patch notes in German.
The patch notes in German – What has changed? Community Manager Adam Fletcher has posted the patch notes for hotfix 11 in the official forum. We are translating them for you:
- Bug Fixes
- An issue has been fixed that allowed players on World Tier 3 and 4 to invite players who were not yet eligible for those tiers.
- An issue has been fixed where world tiers were displayed as unlocked for players who had not yet met the requirements.
- Further improvements to stability.
To unlock World Tiers 3 and 4, you actually need to master difficult dungeons. With the bug, this could apparently be bypassed to invite players who were then able to gain experience too early in the higher tiers.
Especially in World Tier 4, you receive significantly more XP, making one of the popular fast-leveling methods to be carried through Tier 4 by a more experienced player. Better loot also drops here, which you can only attract with a later level.
Additionally, with hotfix 10 after the maintenance work yesterday, a bug was fixed that caused the Druid’s passive ability “Toxic Claws” to inflict unintended damage.

Patch from June 16 continues to work on stability
As some readers report, there are recurring issues with rubberbanding or slight stuttering in the game, especially on PC and PS5. Blizzard is currently working almost daily and with every hotfix to improve this.
In the previous hotfix 9, all dungeons were also adjusted, which has a significant impact on the leveling methods of core players. Some of the most popular dungeons are no longer the “best” for those who want to grind quickly:
Meanwhile, there is hardly any change in class balance. Players are still finding the best and most suitable builds for them. All classes are fairly close in performance, so none falls behind significantly.
