A trio of streamers has developed a super-fast wizard build for Diablo 4: with this Sorcerer, you can almost teleport through dungeons. And speed will soon be important regarding the upcoming leaderboards. Therefore, we took a look at the build for you.
Who developed the build? The super-fast wizard configuration comes from the minds of the streamer trio Rob2628, Arccueid, and Mekuna. The three developed the wizard build for Diablo 4 together and also present it on their respective YouTube channels.
They specifically designed the wizard, which they named Arc Lash Sorc
, for the endgame content of the third season in Diablo 4. This is the Dungeon Gauntlet, which is expected to go live with the long-awaited leaderboards.
Recently, however, the release has been delayed again. At the moment, it is uncertain when Diablo 4 players can enter the dungeon.
What makes the build so good? The special feature of this build is its speed: you teleport more or less through the individual rooms of the dungeons. You fill those rooms with spells while zipping through them. Due to the fast cooldown reset, you can employ this strategy again and again.
This allows you to complete a dungeon in record time. This build could outperform the current leaderboard favorites, the Barbarians, in the Gauntlet.
A lightning-fast wizard – The build overview
How does the build work? You need the spell Teleport
to zip through the rooms as described above. Then you need the Flickerstep Boots
: These reduce the cooldown of a dodge spell by 4 seconds for each enemy you have dodged.
Teleport has a cooldown of 9.8 seconds. However, if you wear the Flickerstep Boots and zip through a room full of enemies, this cooldown reduces to almost 0.
Rob2628 recommends in his video to assign Teleport to the space bar. While waiting for the cooldown, you can make about 2-3 attacks. And then do it all over again.

However, it can take a while to gather the required items. Diablo 4 is currently criticized for its suboptimal loot system: you constantly have to do the same things just to have even the slightest chance of obtaining perfect items. And even if you invest a lot of time and energy, good loot is not guaranteed. To obtain the best items, you also have to farm a boss repeatedly, as the other method is not worthwhile.
