The Open Beta of Diablo 4 is starting soon. The developers have released a new teaser shortly before, showing some gameplay snippets. Additionally, there is information about the content. You can test quite a bit.
When is the Open Beta?
- Blizzard has announced that the Open Beta of Diablo 4 takes place from March 24-26. Anyone can join.
- A week earlier, from March 17-19, a pre-order beta will already take place. To participate, however, you need to pre-order one of the editions of Diablo 4.
- The beta will take place on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox. Here you can find all the information about the Open Beta of Diablo 4:
This is the gameplay: In a new video, Blizzard shows some gameplay snippets of Diablo 4 that you can apparently test yourself in the beta. These include mounts, several of the new enemies, and the co-op mode for up to 4 players.
Additionally, there is again an appearance of Lilith, the main antagonist of Diablo 4. She promises to return your “old power”. You can read more about it in the story of Diablo 4.

Contents of the Open Beta: What’s Included
There is now new information about what will be included in the Open Beta of Diablo 4. We already knew that you can play up to level 25 and explore the first act along with the prologue. New is:
- you can play all 5 classes of Diablo 4 by the second weekend and create up to 10 characters
- one of the world bosses will be available – world bosses are needed to unlock higher difficulties
- you can play alone or in co-op with a group of up to 4 players
- even couch co-op works and in the pre-order beta, only one player needs to have access
Anyone participating in the beta can earn a nice reward that is actually too sweet for Diablo 4. You will also receive up to 2 titles depending on how far you progress in the beta.
The beta runs for only 3 days each weekend, but you can play unlimited. Even if your character reaches level 25, you can continue. You just won’t level up anymore. Progress between weekends is carried over, but there will be a wipe afterwards.
