The Diablo expert Rob2628 is known for his OP builds in Diablo 4. However, he is now calling for nerfs to the classes, saying: it shouldn’t even be possible to defeat the hardest bosses so quickly.
In Season 2, the OP builds were particularly well received. Sorceresses, for example, who were previously considered the absolute weakest class, were able to melt Uber Lilith in seconds with Ball Lightning. Such possibilities are what make games like Diablo enjoyable for people.
The Diablo expert Rob2628 is known for his OP builds in Diablo 4. On the PTR, he tested a Hurricane build with his Druid and showed in a YouTube video how he one-shots the “Level 200” versions of the bosses.
In his new video, Rob showcases “broken” builds from the PTR. He now states that it is not okay to be able to one-shot “Level 200” bosses and desires better balancing.

What exactly is the expert calling for? In his YouTube video from April 11, Rob2628 presents gameplay clips featuring all five classes in Diablo 4. He gathered the strongest builds during the PTR with the community.
He shows various clips where the heroes fight “Level 200” bosses. The battles all unfold similarly: they use few skills, and the health bar of the bosses diminishes as if they were many levels below the heroes.
His conclusion: No one wants the hardest boss fight in the game to unfold like this. In the description of the video, Rob2628 writes: “When Season 4 starts, we all want a balanced and fair game.”

What is wrong with very strong builds? Diablo 4 continually faces criticism that players get bored in the endgame. Despite various endgame activities, especially hardcore players tend to get bored around level 80.
With the “Level 200” versions of the bosses, a new challenge is introduced in Diablo 4 that players can work towards. However, if there are builds that can one-shot even the hardest bosses without any trouble, it automatically undermines something that was originally intended to make the endgame more challenging.
“We should not be able to do this”
What does the community say about this? User “notjack6926” writes in his comment: “It would be a great achievement if they could make it so that the 200-Uber bosses cannot be killed instantly with every build.” Someone notes that isn’t that exactly the point of these games – to become as strong as possible.
One user writes: “I don’t think you can balance anything based on these players. Most average players don’t play or build like that.”
In a comment, “Araturion” writes: “We should not be able to take down all elite enemies or bosses in the game that are level 110-200 with one shot. […] They need to better balance the game. Some skills deal 500k damage while others deal billions. Bosses cannot be bosses if there is such a huge difference between skill damage.”
However, the majority of players seem to enjoy being able to steamroll everything. After the major criticism at launch players in Season 2 suddenly became completely OP and loved it. Many said back then: This is why they come back, this is why they would stay. They wanted that strength to remain. Blizzard even announced that the strongest seasonal abilities would return.
