Patch 1.5.2 for Diablo 4 not only fixes some bugs but also makes the seasonal journey easier. In particular, a certain task becomes significantly easier.
The highlights from the patch:
- You will receive a player title once you kill a monster after Patch 1.5.2 goes live. The title is “Mindbound”; “Impulsive”
- In your loading screens, you will also see your mounts and companions after the update.
- The update makes it easier to complete the seasonal journey. Previously, there was criticism in the community that a particular task was annoying.
- Additionally, there are numerous bug fixes.
When is Patch 1.5.2 going live? The new patch 1.5.2 went live on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The update of about 1.3 GB (on PC) was available around 7:30 PM. You can find the full German patch notes on the second page of the article. This time, they are not as extensive.
From 20 commanders to 5
Which task does the update make easier? Patch 1.5.2 brings a change to the seasonal journey related to Stage 5. For a goal in this stage, you must defeat a total of 20 flood commanders. Players said: “Probably one of the worst seasonal tasks.“
Some found that 5 commanders would be more appropriate here. The problem was that the commanders spawn at the end of certain events in the flood. These events are not visible on the world map – finding these specific enemies was thus often a matter of chance. With the update, the number of commanders you need to defeat for this goal is actually reduced to 5.
The patch also brings a change for the Hellbreach dungeons: chests should no longer be able to be opened accidentally. The weather effects in the flood will also be revised with the update.
From Wednesday, September 4, the PTR (Public Test Realm) for Season 6 and Vessel of Hatred will run. You can already download the update for that.
