Blizzard has released new skin packs for Diablo 4 with Season 2. A bundle for the Hunter has sparked discussions because it is considered too expensive for so little content.
What kind of skin is this? Diablo 4 has released a new skin pack for the Hunter class with Season 2, named ‘Beauty in Sin,’ which is only available in the game for a limited time.
The bundle costs 2,800 Platinum (about 25 Euros) and includes an outfit that envelops both male and female Hunters in tight leather.
However, the skin will not provide much protection against demons or vampires, as it reveals a lot of skin of your character and somewhat resembles the clothing of some adult catalogs in design.
Fortunately, cosmetics for your equipment are not important, so you can continue to use the strongest items even if you want to wear the skin.
What does the bundle include? The ‘Beauty in Sin’ package includes six different items:
- Headgear: Irresistible Circlet
- Chest piece: Stunning Armor
- Gloves: Tempting Ankles
- Leg armor: Seductive Leather
- Boots: Enchanting Footwear
- Body paint: Sign of Corruption
You cannot purchase the contents of the bundle individually, only as a package for 2,800 Platinum.
What is the discussion? The main criticism of the bundle is the price. One player finds the skin bundle particularly expensive in light of the 70€ purchase price of the hack ‘n’ slash (via Reddit).
Another player criticizes that the outfit costs nearly 25 US dollars, despite it being merely ‘underwear,’ which they believe should be the standard skin for most characters (via Reddit). However, a user counters that women’s underwear is also very expensive in real life, and thus the price is appropriate.
The in-game shop of Diablo 4 has already been criticized by players for quite some time. Even before the release, users expressed little enthusiasm about a package costing 25 Euros:
