With patch 1.03, a big update for Diablo 4 was released at the beginning of the week. Now the small hotfix 1.0.3a has been released, which addresses crashes and a faulty achievement. However, apparently there is also a change to a Hunter’s ability hidden in the hotfix.
What has changed? According to the site Wccftech, the following has been adjusted:
- Several bugs that caused the game client to crash have been fixed.
- Additionally, the achievement
Epic Adventurer
is now correctly unlocked.
However, according to the official website, the hotfix only pertains to the PC version of the game and not to the console version.
Blizzard’s Community Development Director Adam Fletcher wrote about the hotfix on Twitter the following:
It’s a small PC client patch for Diablo 4. It addresses various crash reports we’ve observed since 1.0.3. The team will continue to monitor user crash reports.
The pace of various hotfixes and patches for Diablo 4 has been really good so far. Even if many changes don’t please the players:
Hidden in the hotfix is also a change for the Hunter
Was anything else changed? As reported by the site Wowhead, a Hunter ability was also adjusted, which is not mentioned in the patch notes.
- The critical hit rate of Deathtrap has increased from 4% to 8% due to the hotfix.
This is a minor change for a Hunter’s ability. Patch 1.0.3 at the beginning of the week, on the other hand, brought a lot of buffs and changes for all classes and their builds. You can find the complete patch notes here:
