In a big sale, Blizzard is currently selling several games and content at a significantly reduced price. Diablo 4 for example is available for 40% less, you can get it right now for 29.99 euros. An interested player wants to know if the game is worth the price and receives hundreds of opinions.
This is the current offer:
- In the official Blizzard shop, the standard version of Diablo 4 currently costs 29.99 instead of 49.99 euros.
- The first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, will be released on October 8. However, you will still have to pay the full price. We explain the contents and differences of the versions of Vessel of Hatred in the article.
- If you want to test Diablo 4 first, you also get a free trial version up to level 20. A player has tried it and asks on Reddit whether the game is still worth it after that.
In our overview, you get all the info about the release and contents of Vessel of Hatred. You can see the intro trailer here:
This is what the community says: On Reddit, the player with the username TurtleGEE360 asks whether Diablo 4 is worth it at the reduced price. He has never played a game like Diablo before, played up to level 20 in the test, and had a lot of fun.
Now the user is not sure whether the fun will still remain in the endgame or not. The thread has gathered over 400 comments over the weekend, where active players share their opinions.
There it is said: Both the campaign and the endgame are fun – more or less, depending on what kind of player you are. In any case, the game is worth it. Even with the constant complaints about the game, it is accounted for:
Don’t listen to the haters. It’s the first game in a year that I’m regularly online. Tons of content, a pretty great community, and more adult players! Definitely [worth the price]. P.S. The campaign is also fun.
In further comments, it is said with a wink: “After 1,000 hours, I got bored.” Others point out that new content comes with the expansion – which is why it was already advised to simply buy the bundle with Vessel of Hatred earlier.
Vessel of Hatred brings plenty of new content, Season 6 strong improvements
Vessel of Hatred is released together with Season 6 and brings content for owners of the expansion and also for all players. Those who buy Diablo 4 on sale and directly get Vessel of Hatred, will have access starting October 8 to:
- the Spiritborn as a new class
- Nahantu as a new region with the capital Kurast
- more story that continues after the campaign of Diablo 4
- Mercenaries that accompany you on your journeys
- a new PvE coop dungeon in the endgame, the Dark Citadel
- Runewords as a new system to enhance your character
We have already played the new class, gameplay of the Spiritborn can be seen here:
As part of Season 6, all players get a revised level and Paragon system in the free update. Furthermore, Blizzard is revising the difficulties, instead of “world levels” you now have the known categories from Normal to Torment.
Season 6 focuses, just like Season 4 before it, on the overhaul of existing systems, rather than bringing tons of new content into the game. According to the head Rod Fergusson, that is exactly the plan: The head of Diablo 4 explains: What Season 4 was for loot is what Season 6 is for progress
