Blizzard is currently testing the upcoming Season 6 as well as the first expansion Vessel of Hatred in Diablo 4 and anyone can participate. The expert Raxxantetax immediately set out to look for possible issues – and found a severe level exploit.
This is what leveling is about:
- With Vessel of Hatred or Season 6, Blizzard is bringing numerous changes to the game. Experts say: Diablo 4 will be more like Diablo 3.
- One of the changes is that you can only level up to level 60. From there, the Paragon begins, which even applies to all characters of the realm.
- Blizzard is currently testing the changes on the PTR. You can participate if you play Diablo 4 on PC.

This is how the method works: Raxxanterax shows in a new video on YouTube how he reaches the new maximum level 60 within 20 minutes. He does not kill a single opponent, at least not for leveling, and does not gather any equipment.
However, he needs several friends or community members to do the work for him. The procedure is quite simple:
- One player completes an entire outpost, for Raxx it is Omath’s Bastion in Kehjistan – the method should work with any outpost.
- Before the altar at the end of the outpost is activated, the player invites Raxx to the group.
- Raxxanterax then switches to the other player’s world, is made the group leader, and the other player leaves the group.
- Now Raxx can activate the altar and receives a large amount of XP for completing the outpost.
The expert just needs to make sure to always switch worlds and never be in his own, as he would have already completed the outpost here. He has tried all this on the difficulty level “Normal” and had some issues with the switch – it could potentially be even faster.
Blizzard is also overhauling the difficulty levels with Vessel of Hatred. We have already spoken with the bosses about the expansion:

Raxxanterax himself says that this level exploit will not make it into the finished game. Blizzard has watched him while streaming and already confirmed that this method will be patched before the expansion launches. At least he now holds the unbeatable world record

However, the expert jokes: This is all a community challenge, so it makes it more fun. He asks for praise for his helpers and jokes: “Everything that went wrong was not their fault, and we just blame Blizzard.”
A sensible leveling method isn’t necessarily that, at least not for your first character in the season. You would then start at level 60 without any equipment and without any crafting materials. Besides, you would need several friends who have already leveled up and clear the outposts for you.
On the PTR you can currently test many contents of Vessel of Hatred and provide feedback to improve the upcoming features. However, there are still many bugs in testing – so many that you should only play if you really want to help: Blizzard warns: You can already play the new expansion, but it won’t be pretty
