In Diablo 4 Season 2, players must once again push their heroes to the maximum level. While many rely on tried-and-true tactics like Nightmare Dungeons or Legion Events, there is a new method in Season 2 to earn up to 120 Legendary items and millions of XP within an hour. We will show you.
Which method is worth it in Season 2? This is about the new activity “Blood Harvest,” which has been added in Season 2. Many players relied on Nightmare Dungeons or Legion Events to farm items or many XP – but in Season 2, you can fully focus on the Blood Harvest, as it not only drops many items but also XP.
You summon a horde of vampires at the right spot on the map with your baits and defeat them either alone or in a group. If you proceed efficiently, you can collect up to 120 Legendary items per hour.

How do I activate the event? You can find this activity in the open world of Sanctuary, but only in areas taken by vampires. You can recognize them by the dark green color of the area. This changes its location every hour, so keep your eyes open.
Once you discover the area, you can first hunt and defeat vampire enemies, as they drop blood baits that you need for the Blood Bait Pedestals. You need 50 blood baits for one pedestal, so it’s advisable to wander through the tainted area with a trio group until each of your teammates can also present 50 samples.
Now you meet at the pedestals and activate the ritual. Once the ritual is started, you can look forward to a large horde of vampires waiting to be defeated.
The good thing about the Blood Harvest is that it has no cooldown. You can start a Blood Harvest whenever you want and have time to acquire your necessary items and XP. Moreover, you can have fun in the open world with your build.
What happened to the Hell Floods? Hell Floods were also considered strong sources to obtain items and XP, and although the Blood Harvest is better, you cannot ignore the Hell Floods. Only in Hell Floods do you get special materials to refine your equipment. It is therefore important to also complete other activities alongside.
Where can I farm Uniques and Uber-Uniques? The Blood Harvest is considered a strong source for legendary items, but for Uniques, you should rather focus on the five new bosses from Season 2. They generously provide you with the Uniques you need for your builds, and it is more reliable than trying your luck by slaughtering vampires.
Have you tried Season 2 and the Blood Harvests already, and if so, what do you think of the new activity? Is it tedious or exactly the activity complement that Diablo 4 needed? Let us know in the comments!
