What’s happening in the leaderboards? In the leaderboards of Diablo 3, you get a good overview of which classes are currently thriving in Greater Nephalem Rifts and which are struggling. We regularly look at the leaderboards on MeinMMO and inform you about which classes are currently leading in Diablo 3.
Currently, a clear picture emerges:
- Melee fighters like Crusaders, Barbarians, and Monks are at the top.
- Demon Hunters along with the once strong Wizards are in the midfield.
- At the bottom are Witch Doctors and Necromancers.

Let’s take a look at the current positioning in the leaderboards of Season 19. We focus on the European ranks of solo players in S19 – Softcore. Status: December 3rd at 10:30 AM.

What’s special about this? In the last seasons, the Wizard was particularly strong and often led the pack. In Season 18, Wizards and Necromancers had a tight race for Rank 1 in the leaderboard.
In the Tier List with the best classes and builds for Season 19, the Wizard was still suspected to be in the God Tier. The problem is that the Bazooka build is probably only cumbersome to play with macros. Currently, the Wizard couldn’t really shine in Season 19 and is only in the lower midfield.
The Necromancer, which was one of your favorite classes in Season 17, is currently far behind the top. Before the start of S17, the Necromancer received a decent buff, which is now of no use to him.
Currently, both the Necromancer and Wizard are more the losers of S19 according to the rankings. However, this is an assessment after not even two weeks into the new season. A lot can still change in the next days and weeks. We are curious to see which solo class will soon take the lead on its own.
